Shipping & Returns
Delivery Time
All orders are collected and prepared for delivery within 48 hours of your order confirmation email.
Pre-Orders
The indicated shipping date may be subject to change. You will be notified by email if this happens.
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, it will only be dispatched when all pre-order items are ready. For faster delivery of in-stock items, we recommend placing two separate orders.
Delivery Costs
We charge a fixed delivery fee. Orders under £100.00 are charged £5.50. Orders over £100.00 qualify for free delivery.
Please note: Orders for rods and landing nets may incur an oversized item surcharge. All costs are subject to change.
Track Your Order
Once your parcel leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Our preferred courier is DPD.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your order has not arrived within 5 working days of dispatch, please contact us at info@urbancarptackle.co.uk quoting your order number.
If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, we strongly recommend refusing delivery and notifying the courier immediately. Please also contact us as soon as possible so we can assist with the claim and replacement process.
Warranty
All products sold through urbancarptackle.co.uk are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, unless otherwise stated. The warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and proof of purchase must be provided for any claim. The warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to products purchased second-hand, through unauthorised sellers, or via private sales.
The warranty covers manufacturing faults only and does not cover:
- Accidental damage
- Misuse or negligence
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper storage or handling
- Damage caused by modifications or unauthorised repairs
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect product performance
Urban Carp Tackle reserves the right to inspect and assess all returned items before approving any warranty claim.
Order Cancellation & Returns
Customers have the right to cancel and return their order within 7 days of receiving the goods for any reason.
All returns must be authorised by Urban Carp Tackle before being sent back. To request authorisation, contact info@urbancarptackle.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. Unauthorised returns may be refused.
Returned items must:
- Be unused and in original condition
- Include all original packaging and accessories
- Be securely packaged for return shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 30 days of receipt and inspection of the returned goods. Items showing signs of use, damage, modification, misuse, or incomplete packaging may be refused or subject to a reduced refund at our discretion.
Inspecting Your Goods
Please inspect all goods immediately upon delivery. Any claim relating to damaged, incorrect, or missing items, or alleged manufacturing defects, must be submitted in writing to info@urbancarptackle.co.uk within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Failure to notify us within this period constitutes full acceptance of the goods as delivered in satisfactory condition.
No returns will be accepted without prior written authorisation. Where a return is authorised, goods must be returned within 14 days of receiving return instructions. All returned items must:
- Be unused and in their original condition
- Include original packaging, tags, and accessories
- Be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit
The buyer is solely responsible for all return shipping arrangements, costs, and transit risks unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to inspect all returned goods before approving any replacement, repair, credit, or refund. We may reject a return and send goods back at the buyer's expense if items are found not to be defective, are damaged through misuse or neglect, or are returned outside the permitted timeframe.
Refunds, replacements, or repairs are granted at our discretion. Where approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 30 days of receipt and inspection of the returned goods.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of fishing time, travel costs, accommodation, competition fees, or other associated expenses
- Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, improper handling, or unauthorised repairs
Custom-made, clearance, sale, or special-order items are non-refundable unless faulty under applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under UK consumer protection legislation.
